Just got back from a trip, and despite the lack of sleep, I immediately went off to have another one – Iloilo City! Anticipating the worst of Manila traffic, I left my place three hours ahead of my scheduled early morning departure. Surprisingly, our PAL left on time and in less than an hour, we finally touched down. From the airport, we rode the hotel tourist bus to reach Injap Tower Hotel (hotel info).
Hotel Reception
Upon arriving at the hotel, we received our room keycards and then proceeded to our respective rooms to freshen up and prepare for our next activity. Although their reception is not that huge, its minimalist design is impressive and the color exudes a positive vibe.
About Injap Tower Hotel
Currently the tallest building in Western Visayas, Injap Tower Hotel (hotel rates) is managed by Hotel 101. Apart from the beautiful views Injap Tower Hotel offers to its guests, it is also perfectly located near the commercial district and entertainment hubs.
Injap Iloilo Hotel Lobby

They call it a “happy room” for a variety of reasons. It features one queen size bed and one single bed, and bright colors that complement well with ergonomic design. Each room comes with full amenities such as a 46″ LED cable TV, a free Wi-Fi access, an en-suite bathroom with toiletries, a minibar, an in-room safe, and a microwave oven.

The bed and the pillows are very comfortable and even though there were two beds in my room, there is still enough space for me to move around. Although there’s no veranda, a glass window covered by venetian blinds provides a nice view of the city and the fronting SM City Iloilo.

There’s also a convenient desk matched with a chair that allows me to work during idle hours. As I mentioned earlier, there’s this minibar where you can keep your own food. Right next to the door, you’ll see a closet where you can keep your used and unused clothes. Aside from a microwave oven, an electric kettle is also provided.
The private bathroom has a hot and cold rain shower, a hairdryer, some bathrobes, and free toiletries.

They also provide free Wi-Fi that has a really good connection, great for people like me who updates social media clients and blogs while traveling.
The Facilities
Arriving tourists and guests can avail of their airport and seaport shuttle services. Just make sure to arrange it with the hotel before your arrival. The hotel offers many unique recreational opportunities such as a fitness center, an indoor pool, a spa area, a massage spot, and a kid-sized pool. The hotel also has meeting rooms for business travelers.

Injap Hotel Iloilo Swimming Pool
Although the price of the hotel is in the mid-range, I was surprised when I learned that they also have a gym and a swimming pool at the 5th floor. However, since we were outside the hotel most of the time, we were not able to try out these facilities.
The Food
The hotel has its own dining spot, the Horizon Café, which is found at the 21st floor. This is where breakfast for everyone is served. Hotel guests and walk-in customers can dine there and enjoy their large selection of dishes prepared by a Singaporean chef.
We were able to taste some of their delectable food at a dinner we had there. The quality of the food was superb. The fried shrimps just spell love to me! Yum!
